Custom or Expanded Registration
I'm seeking to add a number of questions to the VB registration, questions that are specific to users of my site. Replies to these questions will consist of radio or check buttons responses and a text box that captures their zipcode. The answers must be stored in the SQL database so that users can edit them in their registration profile.
Is there a hack out there that addresses this request, or is there someone out there willing to attack this one? Also, has anyone utilized SSL on their registration page? |
if you have enough time you can wait for vb3 as there this will be standart.
if not i belief there is a hack around. |
Xenon,
I'm confused. I thought that vb3 was already available. I currently own a vb license, but have yet to install it. If I am mistaken, should I wait for vb3 to arrive before installing? Do you have an ETA on vb3? |
vB3 is slated for public beta testing in a few months or sooner. Jelsoft doesn't believe in release dates, although I do: it's called work your ass off on it until it's done and working, which will probably be before the deadline...

Anyone have a link where I can get a heads-up on vb3 improvements/features?

Wasn't that also said back in September of 2002? ;)

Exactly, hence my rant about release dates.

This September we can all get together and reminisce about it being released in a few months. A reunion of sorts. ;)
