Close = Delete ...
 

Hi, I installed a hack on my forums, not sure which ones it was, and now, when I close a thread, it deletes it. Anyone got any ideas how I can fix this?

Undo the changes that the hack made. :)

I dont know what hack it is.

I've got heaps of hacks on my forums. And I dodnt even know when it started doing this. One day I go to close and boom, it deletes.

Well, there's not much we can do without knowing what hacks you installed. Unfortunately I suggest that you just rehack from scratch. Just remember to only install hacks that you absolutely need. :)

So ther eis no other way I can go about it? Any other suggestions?

I dont really want to get rid of all my hacks because I have so many ..

remember: always make a backup befor you hack your board.

no there is nothing else you can do.
you can just look at the date of the files to see which of the files were edited for this hack if you remember when you installed it.

heh, what file would it be in? If I can find that, I can find out what hack caused it.

i think postings.php would be the problematical file, but you can't say 100% sure

If anyone knows for sure, that would be awsome.

nobody can know that 100% sure without looking into your board and files directly.
