After thinking about it for a very, very long time, I guess the only thing you could ever use this function for is timing code line by line...

What does it mean by each tick?

After some reading it can mean every x lines of code (or blocks, or statements, can't remember; look at the See Also stuff).

i thought it was letting the function carry out its set task for each tick, but ahwell im dim
