activate a forum
 

Here's an idea for a hack that I am not sure if it should be posted here or in the service request forum. Basically, it involves being able to activate a private forum that is selected in the admin cp as being private, but can be shown to a user when they activate it in their user cp. It would also be age restricted, so users would have to agree that they are over the age of 18 to view it.

In the normal forumhome view, the forum wouldn't show, for both registered members and unregistered members, but a registered member would have the option of turning it on in their user cp, but only a forum specified in the admin cp as being user selectable.

If this turns out to be something that no one would want to do for free, maybe one of the mods could move this to the service request forum.

This is exactly what I need as well. I too, would be willing to pay for it. I'd want it to be for 2.30 (it'll be a looong time before I upgrade to 3.0).
