Post Moderate Posts
 
I don't believe this exists:

We have a requiremnt for a large forum to be post moderated, ie a user can post as normal but moderators view each post later and approve/remove/edit post. Each post then becomes flagged as moderated as posts don't show up in the moderation system.

Any thoughts?

You could have a mod checkpoint.

Simply create a new post where you've viewed the last post and close it so no-one else can move it. Then you can see the posts below that point have been checked.

Just an idea, saves hacking. :D
