Adding Banners Between Main Forum Page Categories
 

Hey all you vbulleting gurus.

Does anyone know how to add banners between the main categories on a forum homepage? I've been looking around and cant find anything that does this specifically. I found ways to add banners in the regular areas but I'm yet to find out how to add them between the main categories on the forum homepage.

It wouldn't be hard. In the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template, add the image ABOVE what is already there. If you want different images, the sneaky way to do it would be to make your image url point to a numbered gif based on the forum number by using the variable - $forum[forumid].gif

Then, you could use blank images for the categories where you don't want images.

How can I get the ads to show on the inner areas of the forums. For example I click on the main link for a forum and then see all the posts there.

How can I say add an ad to show between every 8 posts?
