mail not working
 

So far I have installed around 15 hacks on my site.. Then I received a e-mail from someone who registered he never got his sign up confirm letter.... so I did some tests.... Ok, mail only seems to be working locally... If the account is registered locally on the server like with a domain I host it sends the registar e-mail to confirm. But people with e-mail accounts elsewhere do not receive theirs... How do I fix this?

Try reverting register.php.

ok fixed... well sort of, vB is sending out using the nobody@ account which I configured my server to reject.. SuExec is enabled so it should not be sending out as nobody@ writing an exim script for this now. Thanks for the ideas though.

ok fixed! my board lets you register now :) If anyone else needs help with the same prob.. let me know and I'll give you the script and help you install it.. You need to have Cpanel and root access to your server for this to work.
