Getting a strange error from my cp..
This just started happening last night, and I haven't installed any hacks in a while so I don't know what could be causing it. I tried installing filburt's "Self-Healing Database" beta hack to see if it would fix the problem, but it didn't. Here's the error...

erm, i don't see the errormsg itself...
try to upload an unhacked session.php |
I am getting the same problem. It just started happening as well. I wonder if it could be a host issue?
|
hmm, has your host upgraded to mysql4?
AFAIK there are some more problems with hosts upgrading to ChenQL4 .. |
That's why it's odd Xenon, there's no error number associated with it at all, that's just all it tells me.
Really Amy? Who do you go through if you don't mind my asking? |
I just found what's causing it on mine. I installed assassingod's database stats hack yesterday. Removing that hack fixed the problem. Are you sure you didn't hack something?

Well the only thing I added was trafix's jukebox hack but that had been working fine for a few weeks already. I did make one change to the user.php file the other day because I couldn't add any users manually (was getting that dreaded "column count doesn't match value count" error).
It is in the session.php file though? What should that line look like? |
The hack I mentioned was actually installed on admin/index.php
I haven't taken the time yet to figure out why it might be giving me grief. It's just weird that we both started getting exactly the same error at the same time - especially since you don't remember installing any hacks recently. Amy |
Found out what it was. It was the hack to find out how much space was being used by the SQL database. For some reason my index.php didn't like the code.
But now it's a moot point anyhow as my CPanel index page tells me that same info. |
Hmmmm, my hack seems to be casuing some trouble.
Maybe I should remove it for the time being. |
