Admin Hack needed
 

Hiya,

I need a hack for vB. If it is possible and someone can write it then I'm the next customer to it.

Situation is as following:

I'm member in different organisations (two fraternities, roleplaying group, .....)

I'd like to create now a place where I can bring all of them together in communities. I'd like to make from each community one to an Admin. Well, a limited admin. That person should have admin rights for each community only. Meaning he should be able to create and alter forums within his category but not touch anything else.

Is that possible?

Hiya Xenon, thx for your reply. I did browse the hack and search for it however I did not come across that one. Maybe I was just using the wrong keywords.

I know that I'm unlicensed... if such a hack is not available then does vB offer nothing additional that I need and will go on running on IB. Pre-sales support told me to ask here!

You can always pay someone to develop the hack and i'm sure you will get lots of offers if you purchase a copy and post in Service Requests :)

Yes, what you say is possible - in fact, there are sites implementing this already. However, a public release of this hack has never been made. The ones I've seen are custom jobs. You may need to enquire around to see if a vB hacker is willing to do this for you. But it's definitely possible.
