Switching Servers
I am currently trying to switch servers. I cannot switch the DNS and new IP address because the company I registered the domain with is out of business.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to go about changing this info now? Much appreciated. Dave |
I'm pretty sure you'll have to transfer the domain to a new company.

Most companies will transfer the domain for you for a small fee. For example, I use dotster to register and maintain all my domains. In their case you do not need the extra services they offer (dns management, email forwarding, etc. )
Your new host deals with the DNS and IP addresses. Once you get everything transferred all you have to worry about it the nameservers that the domain points to. |
