Users browsing forums + guest counts

Hello @ll!

Is it possible to hack vb2 so that it's showing the number of browsing users in each forum on the index-page (forumhome) like vb3 does?

I know there is a hack available which is showing all MEMBERS in each forum like here at vb.org.
I'm searching for a hack, which counts MEMBERS and GUESTS in each forum. Is it really impossible to count both?

I've tried this hack, but it shows only registered, logged in members.

I've been searching for or requesting a hack that counts every user (logged in members and guests) in every forum and displays the count on forumhome like vb3 beta 2.
