Need a hack for vB3 when it is released.
 

Where I work state of Minnesota we have email access but no web access. When a new thread is posted and you are subscribed to that forum you just get an email with a link. Without web access you can not go to the link and read it. I think many businesses have the web blocked but do have email.

If a hack could be made to send the entire NEW post and not just the link to it. It is very frustrating to get an email saying that a topic you want to read is there and you can't do it..

TIA for anyone who wants to take this on.. If I could I would but I have no clue of how to hack anything...

There is are 2 hacks that can do this already, one for subscribed threads, the other for subscribed forums. I used to run them (took them off to reduce server loads). Look for them.

you'll get the whole message if board admin adds $message in template "email_notify"
