I'll build the next one like I built this one. Usually once a year I build a new one and sell off the parts of the old one or keep them around for spares so there is no down time. It's easier to stay current that way than to go every couple of years trying to catch up.

Custom built - laptop with specific things hopefully ;)

Custom built.. Definately. Once I've learnt how to..
I've had all kinds of trouble with my 2 previous experiences buying prebuilt systems by Packard Bell.

I don't know when I will upgrade my powerhouse. With Dualies my comp is really fast ATM and I don't see a reason to upgrade.

I will build my own, I always do

I wouldn't mind getting a better laptop then my PIII

My parents used to buy those horrible PC's back in the day. No wonder they went under.

a custom PC, but i think it'll take a while.
I've no problems with mine, even that it's a PII it's all i need normally ;)

I'm going to get a G4 in a year or two. I just can't stand Windows's quirks and crashyness everywhere. At least OS X just works.

colicab-d 04-09-2003 09:48 PM

im going for a new custom built p4 in august with the start of my new college courses..

ive been hearing were expected to reach 5ghz by the end of the year so im gonna give it til late summer.. see what speed were at then..

tho in saying that i think aslong as i keep myself upto date ram wise (1-2gb ddr) I will be more than ok

its all these bloody image manipulations i have to do at mo that are eating up my comps resources..that and opflashpoint addons lol
