Server fast enough
 
PII 300 512kb cache
256mb pc133
2x9gig scsi drives
would this run vbulletin using suse linux very well?

does anyone know how this will run vbulletin I am in desparate need for a backup and need to know if it will run it.

Pretty much anything will run vB. The question is how many people will be using it.

If that's all the server will be doing I'd imagine that it's fine.

10-20 no problem. 100-200 you may need more RAM. Try asking this question with the experts at the Server forum at vB.com.
