Saving before pruning?
 

I am about to prune over 100,000 threads. Is there a way to convert them into HTML files and save them as static HTML pages and then prune?

My users like to go into ancient threads and read.

Any solutions or suggestions?

Not static HTML, but you could use Xenon's Archiv hack. Search for it in the Full Releases forum.

I got that hack but if I prune stuff won't the archives get pruned too?

nope the archives use different db tables :)

just move them into the archive and select delete original thread after converting and it will be perfect :)
