www.atmyparty.com

I have spent many hours hacking and modifying, as well as coding my own hacks for my forum.

Its a party organising website with everything ppl need to help with their orangements, the directories need more listings but its still earley days.

What do you guys think...

Extremely cluttered home page. Also Google will kick you permanently out of its index when it finds the flooding at the bottom of the page.

You also have way too many forums for the user base--combine some to make them look more busy.

Are you talking about the main index page (non vb)

filburt1 03-29-2003 10:36 PM

Yes. Apparently that technique will make Google permanently remove your site from the index and they do catch it.

ooops thanks for adding the link filburt1 and thanks for your comments.

I realise that there is a lot of forums.. I am reducing them as i install various hacks to take their place.

trafix 03-29-2003 10:39 PM

Ok, i sort of had plans to remove it anyway......do you think the directory fast finder is ok to leave there?

I can't even see how to get into the forums :(

trafix 03-30-2003 06:39 AM

trafix, did you post in the wrong forum man, cuz that sounds like the help i needed in full relsease of jukebox, lol, man you did post, and i have been waiting for an hour on this site to get some support, lmfao

Dean C 03-30-2003 07:15 AM

Huh ^ lol - who are you giving instructions to ;)

No offence trafix but this is one of the worst designs i have seen. The background looks horrible. You have about a bazillion forums of which most should be cut IMO :)

The quick registration isn't exactly quick lol! and your currently active users table is messed up big time
