Delete and Re-Upload...
 

I was having a lot of problems with my vB, so I thought of an alternative. I think I may have a version (backed up through FTP) of all the files I had on my boards. My question is:

If I delete all the folders in the FTP, and then re-uploaded them all, would that in any way affect the vB?

No you won't have to resetup the boards because the database will still be in tact. However if you have installed hacks which make changes to the db in anyway you may get errors until you re-apply the hack changes to the PHP files :)
