Top hackers (in a different way)
I realize the problems with attributing "status" to number of hacks released. It's no more a measure of hacking ability than post count is of intelligence.
What if, instead of # of hacks released, the list was based on # of users that have installed your hacks. I think that is a much more accurate measurement of the top hackers, isn't it? |
But then there will be the competition of getting hackers to install hacks. The main reason we don't display top hackers is to prevent competition in any way :)

;) people always demand that you lick install... I understand, thanks!
|
Yes but it's not a competition. I mean you don't see anyone rushing around getting people to click install. Yet you see some people (naming no names) who have flurries of mini-hacks which are practically pointless (if you can say that) or already made. I think that if we promote the installation tallies of hacks or the number of hacks released then we'll see more of this :)

Can I at least get a more creative edit on my thread title like [SHOT DOWN] or [TOTALLY REJECTED] ? Thanks!
|
Hey im just giving my opinion ;) - the admins or other mods may think differently :)

You know I'm just joking  I don't care if they put up a top list or not, just thought of a better way for it.
|
Hehe that's ok :) We're always open for suggestions :D
What's up with your custom title? - miSt |
Yeah, lucky, I wanted one too. :p
