Upgading to 3.0 with hacks installed
 

I have around 5 hacks installed on my board and I was wondering what the experts think about what it's going to be like upgrading to 3.0 with hacks installed. I've used THIS method in the past going from 2.2.8 to .9 using Araxis Merge and it worked great. Does it look like it's going to work for 3.0 as well or is it too different of a system? I think a lot of us are going to be in this boat pretty soon and it would be great to get some discussion going on it. Thanks in advance.

nope :)

vb3's code is completly rewritten and vb2 hacks won't work (at least 99% won't work)

However, a lot of vB2 hacks can easily be ported over to vB3 [should the hack writer have that much time on his/her hands]

I think at the rate I release hacks, I won't bother porting a lot of them over, because I have 24 now, and will have about 30 in a week lol.
