A few questions before I make the purchase
 

I'm and VERY interested in vBulletin, but I have a few questions before I make the purchase:

1. Is it possible to convert phpbb 2.0.4 even though I've installed several hacks (aka modules) to it? If so, can I get a link to the converter?

2. After I make a payment through paypal, how will I receive all of the vBulletin files?

3. Is there a working "battle system" hack?

4. What are some of the support sites/forums that I can visit after I make my purchase? Please list a couple URLs.

5. If there IS a convertor for phpbb 2.0.4, will it successfully transfer all posts, threads, and user accounts?

2. Once vBulletin receives your payment, they will send you an email with details on how to access the member area of vB to allow you to download the files.

3. Yes. I believe there's two or three different ones around here.

Thanks for the quick reply, but does anybody know anything about a phpbb 2.0.4 convertor? I'd hate to have to waste 25k posts again.

If the hacks modified the database structure for phpBB then it might not work. If they just modified the files and not the database then you should be fine.

That's not good.... I'm pretty sure that a little of the structure was modified. Can someone give me a link to info on the convertor? Once I do a little more research on this, I should be about ready to pay up. Later.

You might try browsing around in there. I don't know if you can access that page or not, but I almost guarantee that anything you want can be done. Though it might take a bit of pay for a custom hack written by someone. But it's still possible.
