Please, Please help!
Hi,
I am new to this hacking stuff.. I was trying to install the today/yesterday datestamp one... and it now gives me this message when I go to my board: Parse error: parse error in /home/televis/public_html/tvbmainsite/admin/functions.php on line 889 Fatal error: Call to undefined function: vbdate() in /home/televis/public_html/tvbmainsite/admin/sessions.php on line 400 -- Please someone help. thanks so much |
You broke admin/functions.php That file doese not like html editors. Try uploading a backup with a ftp program.
|
Could you show us line 889 from functions.php?
|
How would I find line 889? Count it?
Also.. couldn't I just upload a new functions.php file then? |
Your best bet would be to re-upload your original functions file (backup file) and then try to reapply the hack on a fresh start. The functions file can be picky at times. ;) To find the line numbers, I'd suggest you use a decent editor such as EditPlus2 or another of sorts. At all times don't go into your server cp and edit directly from there - that has the potential to produce lots of pesky errors. Familiarize yourself wtih a good text editor and ftp program and hacking will be much easier.

Yay... thank you everyone. Everything is restored. You guys are so great. heh
