Hack Bug Report Addon

I know this is a crazy idea, since the official thread for a hack should serve as the bg report. I think it will be more cleaner, if there was a special addon where the user specifically submits a bug, making it easier for the author to locate, instead of going through massive numbers of pages.

If anyone is even the slightest bit interestes, I will continue :)

We are currently reconsidering the whole concept for hack releases that we currently have here. The whole idea of a support thread is to resolve hacks bugs but i think having another section is unnecessary. Also most problems in the thread are when people don't follow the hack instructions properly. :)

I agree fully with you, wouldn't the system I ahve suggested above, benifit to the hacker for the main reason that most posts in the thread are infact problems that occur by lack of following instructions. So, if a similar system of one I have suggested above was even considered would really benefit the hacker, since any user who believes there are strictly code errors, they can use to report. This can be simple thing as a different page and minimum of 1 new table, which can be identified by the threadid.

I know it can come to harm the resources of vB.org, but it does seem reasonable, for instance we can take the store hack or vBhome as an example that have/will have hundreds of pages now or in the near future.

By the way, thanks for the fast, and consice reply :)

Yes but i see in vbhome_lite's support thread almost once every 3 days a question regarding an error people get when running a query. It's simply because they don't follow the instructions correctly. But i have made a suggestion on a FAQ system for each hack which i think should server better...
