Philosophical Board Management Question #30004
 

Member posts on your board asking a stupid question that you have answered a thousand times before for other members. A simple search would have given them their answer in a heartbeat.

Their post shows signs of limited intelliegence because they have poor grammar and spelling, have a "hacker elite" type name, or otherwise show themselves to be less than bright.

You are a moderator. How do you handle it?

On my forum, it would be option 2 :D

My members have a tendency to search and post the relevant link for me :D

I'll sometimes do

I take it no one sighs heavily and posts the answer again? :p

Happens here at vB.org all the time.

Go and search. Seek and ye shall find.

At vBT I often reply with just "Search." Then they yell at me complaining, but my motto is also "Search and ye shall find" just like Erwin ;)

Erwin, here is the buffoon that triggered this post. Would one of you level-headed moderators go do whatever it is you do to such clowns before I reach through my montitor and choke him?
