Moderating & Validating threads/post of a particular Usergroup
 

I am in need of some assistance regarding VBulletin. I have a board which runs VBulletin version 2.2.8 and I need to know how be able to moderate posts/threads for new users or for users of a particular Usergroup. The ideal would be to validate only the posts and threads of Members of a particular Usergroup and to do this for a certain amount of posts or for a period of time from registering, it is essential that only certain Usergroups "suffer" from such Moderation before being Validated.
Unfortunately I do not know how to do this as I can only do this for all Members, that is impractical and annoying. I need to know how to do this in order to stop abusers from posting material that is against our rules or damaging to the board. I hope you reply as soon as possible, thanks beforehand.

i think its a default option... check the vbulletin registration options... i believe you can set all new registers to have to be validated...

Hello I am interested in this hack as well as I need it for my board. Unfortunately the need is not to moderate all members but to moderate the posts of members in a particular usergroup. Is that possible? I checked the VB Options regarding to registration and it allows you only to moderate all members. At most I can switch the moderation of posts in specific forums yet that would apply to all members and would be time-consuming. The ideal is to Moderate only those Members and their Posts in a Particular Usergroup, is this possible?

My Board runs with VB 2.3.0.
