Moving a site to a new website?
 

Hello everyone,
I have a question on how to move a forum that currently using domain1.com to domain2.com. I mean I want to move the whole forums and database to a new site totally with out lost any post. I just want to change the name of the website. Please guide me on how to do this . If can, list the step that I have to do.

if your moving to an other server, backup your database.

and add your database to the new domain. and transfer all files from your current host ot the new one

I know. But after I am backing up the database on myphpadmin, then how can I restore it to the new database?

goto sql commands, then there is a little box that let's you add a local file.

add the sql backup there

then run it :)
