Need advice about external PHP poll script
 

Hello there :)

I'm constructing a main page for my site...
I want to include a php poll. I have found a script which seems that gives a devent result :

In the instructions it says that I need to run a database.sql query, which comes with the downloaded packet.

I hesitate to run this query cause I don't have any idea what effects this will have at my database. (the database I have for my VB).

Anyone who could give me any ideas on whether it could mess my vb database or not?
I mean is it safe to run such query? Can I revert the database to what it was before - if this query causes any problems?

I would appreciate any feedback on this.

One thing I can see is that the query creates these tables :

- poll_alternatives

- poll_ip

- polls

If I'm right, these names are different than the ones that VB uses for polls.

I can see that the VB table is called poll.

So do you think there will be any conflicts or there are no worries?
