Problems with Dead Links
Using VBulletin 2.3.0 RC3
and vbPortal 3.0 We recently did an upgrade in both vbullentin and vbportal, when we did 4 of the links on our mainpage broke. I've yet to discover the problem and hoping a few could point me in the direction, I of course have the entire backup previous to the upgrade but have yet to notice a discrepancy in any of the files I have looked at. Our main site at www.guardiansoffire.com The broken links are: Stats - Goes to http://www.guardiansoffire.com/forums/vbstats.php however it loads up a blank page with no errors. Top Posters - Goes to http://www.guardiansoffire.com/forum...ion=topposters Same thing, blank page no errors. Weblinks - Goes to http://www.guardiansoffire.com/forums/links.php Same thing, blank page no errors. Along with the Downloads - http://www.guardiansoffire.com/sdownload/index.php not working and the lost password email is giving me an error with Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0: Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO useractivation VALUES (NULL,'6','1046997926','6027475',1) mysql error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1 mysql error number: 1136 Date: Thursday 06th of March 2003 07:45:26 PM Script: http://www.guardiansoffire.com/forums/forums/member.php Referer: http://www.guardiansoffire.com/forums/member.php If anyone has any ideas at all about how to fix these problems please let me know, my guess is it has to do with the vbportal upgrade likely copying over some edits. I've yet to hear back from the previous webmaster whom set this up originally and am in the midst of learning this stuff myself heheh. Thank you, |
This is a known issue with vBPortal integration. You need to fix it by adding some lines to the replacement section of Admin CP.
Support for vBPortal should be obtained from www.phpportals.com , not here, since that is the official support site. :) |
ahh okay, wasn't positive it was a vportal problem or not. :)
Thank you very much :) |
The instructions to install vBPortal should tell you how to do it actually. :)
|
Aye, friend of mine helped by doing the vbportal install, but checking it out now and fixing them :)
Thank you tons. :) |
