Can somebody please explain to a non-gamer type
What do level, HP, and Exp. signify? Especially as it seems to be calculated typically on forums.
Amy |
hmm, it's specific in every game, but the general description:
level: the level of the person, mainly have to do with what the charakter could use as items. the higher the level, the "older and better" is the char HP: hitpoints. the more hitpoints a char has then more hits he could accept until he dies Exp: Experience, a value calculated on how much enemies a charakter has killed, and how much experienced he is in fighting, spelling and so on. normally everytime a charakter got more than a specific ammount of experience, the level increases by one |
Thank you :)

*mutters* damned RPG nerds...

Haha @ filburt1.
That's basic. It's simple, but I think I'm more of an RPG nerd... *cough*FF Freak*cough*.
Xenon was close but as an RPG nerd I don't think that was a good enough explanation :p. Good try though Xenon :);). Dave. |
you're welcome amy :)
hehe, dave i think i was very close, especially i don't play any RPG's and the only one i have played is no real RPG (Diablo). but i think my explanation was really enough for understanding ^^ |

Should I feel insulted by this? I mean, us FF/Zelda freaks aren't nerds, we're geniuses. :D

I don't run an RPG site, but I use those level things too... my members seem to like them. :)
|
My members liked them but there are better little hacks you can make to symbolise activity levels ;)
