Umm let me run you through some features.

I got the shoutbox there on the front page, which is a modified version of the common shoutbox blog script that was going around a while back - it's more integrated into the forum, uses sessions, only stores the last 20 shouts in the database, umm other security features I also added to stop people pretending to be others, and you can't shout until you've been a member for a while.

The news thing on the front page (as well as the poll) is basically something I made myself and never documented. When a moderator "promotes" a thread, the first post of the thread is displayed on the frontpage of my site, and if the thread has a poll in it, the poll will displayed on the front as well. The last 3 news threads, and the last poll thread, are always on the front page.

Some other interesting stuff is the ability to nuke posts at the press of a button to hide them from public display, moderators can edit people's sigs and 'lock' the user from editting their own sig as punishment for them misbehaving.

Also the board is newer than 2.2.7 except the numbers stopped changing since that upgrade :/

i like the colors :)

but i can't figure out how to scroll the shoutbox down w/o just selecting the text and dragging, also maybe it's just me, but you could add a break between those side columns and the ones below em

The colors aren't bad, the background doesn't match the table colors though. Looks a bit cluttered with two side menu's also.

yeah there's a less cluttered template to pick as well, but it's not as cool

Its cluttered, but how cool I found a star gate forum, I am happy, I love SG1
