I need help fast..just tried installing quick reply
 

on 2.3.0 and I know for a fact that I installed it correctly...5 or 6 times actually.

but the reply box just DOESN'T show up at all...what can be causing this?

Are you putting $replybox in the showthread template?

yep..I've done it all, perfectly, many times..I've never had a problem installing it, and I get no errors at all..it just doesn't show up.

Are you using a custom style? If so, you need to put the $replybox in ALL your showthread templates.

there are two styles and two sets of templates, I've installed them in both showthread templates..it still doesn't work.

I've spent hours on this simple thing, I installed the store hack without a problem in one try...and every other one, but now quick reply is kicking my butt! lol

I assume you edited the PHP files as requested. The best thing to do is uninstall the hack, then reinstall it completely.

yeah I did the PHP file edit in showthread.php, and I've redone the hack many times...I get the same results :(

Well, you are not doing it right, because it WILL work if the PHP and HTML codes are in the right place.

do you have AIM messenger? if you do can you PM me at natedoggnc16, and i'll show you my showthread.php and how I have it set up and maybe you can see the problem, the only thing that throws me off is the no error thing.
