Header Problems

Hey i have a site at wcgateway.com/forums

and i just made a new header. the orc things at the top

i would like the header to be 100% across but for my forums to stay exactly how they are. i cannot do this for some reason. i keep editing things but they either mess it up and im not getting the right effects. i am looking for something somewhat like

warcraftforums.com exept mine does not go all the way across

i have posted a image with pink arrows to the spaces i don't want..
