Opinions on this Button Style?

I'm not very skilled when it comes to buttons. But how's this for a button style?

I'm still working on it a bit, it's a dark green that's kinda .... velvety in my opinion.

Anyway, all feedback is appreciated.

They look nice... Maybe a bit tall but slick... :)

Yeah, looking nice, but green?
i have to really increase the monitorbrightness a lot to saw it has a bit green in it :)

*hehe* They are a bit dark. :s And the more I look at them compared to my forum colors (which could probably be improved), they don't really fit..... I'll try shortening and lightening a bit - and then see if it's a bit better. :D

:D Thanks for the feedback, everyone!

Here's an update, slightly lighter to show it's really a "green" button. ;) And slightly dwarfed shorter, too. :D

Not bad. Becuase i can see it looks quite elegant i'd use a normal font like arial or verdana :D

:s I seem to have troubles using arial or verdana (I prefer Verdana, actually). See, it seems too big to fit all the needed words on a button, and smaller text distorts. I've not tried turning off the anti-alias for verdana, though. Would you recommend a font size with or without alias? I've also been searching around for fonts made especially for being 'small' to use on buttons, but so far the only one I get to work right is "silkscreen" which is what's on the current buttons.

Also, I'm messing around a bit with the colors, too. So maybe by Monday I can have something useful for you to look at. ;)

Update - How's this looking? I'm still using the small font as mentioned in the above post, but I think the buttons are turning out better. But I need opinions on the "go" button. Too ..... too anything?

:D
