Sort based on start date and time

PLEASE help.
what I want to do is either add another column that will allow my members to sort based on start date and time. or add it to the starter area so that people can sort on the start time and date. this is important to my users.

thanks please help asap.

This is kinda vague. What exactly are they sorting?
