Usenet Style Forumdisplay
I was just wondering if anyone has seen or done anything like this, or has any ideas on how to do this.
You know how in a usenet thread there is a heirarchy, with the various replies listed under the original post that started the thread. I was looking for something kinda like that, but alot simpler. Say, just list the "subject" first 5 posts in the thread underneath the thread name in forumdisplay, with each being a link to that specific postid within the thread. Any ideas, I have been poking around and I have kinda got an idea of what I need to do in terms of fetching the data I need, but I have no idea how to present it to the user. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. |

That looks like what I need, but seems to be only in showthread, but not forumdisplay, or maybe I'm missing something?
