extra postbit stuff
 

Is there a way admins can have some extra postbit stuff show up, that no other user has? (ie- I would have used an extra custom field that only the admin can edit to put it in, but 250 characters isn't enough for all the html code I was thinking) ... thnx

just allow longer profilefields, search a bit around of how to allow bigger fields :)

or search for custom postbits for admins..

Thnx for the reply :) The only things I find for "custom postbits for admins" would let the admin see the forum using one template while the other users using another. What I was thinking of was something that all users can see in a post, but only admins have it in their postsbit.

Making the custom field longer would kind of be awekward though putting all the html in there unless I could somehow make the input text field into a big box also?

a) there is another hack for custom admin postbits also, but maybe you have to search more into deep.
it could also be just in request forums..

b) with a bit coding also textinputboxes are possible for custom profilefileds :)

c) you could also install logicians conditional templates hack, to show extrastuff in postbit, when it's the postbit of an admin :)
