Hmm, sorry if this sounds lame, but I only have 1 hack installed on my board (microstats) and I am getting 19 queries on forum home.

I disabled the show birthday on forum home and its still 19.. when i first upgraded to 229 it was showing 16 queries, and I have not added any hacks except the one listed above.. what gives? its like 4 queries came out of no where?!

from what i know TECK'S mircostats doesn't even add a query.

any ideas?

maybe you have had disabled the pm's when viewing the board at first :)
pm's add 3 queries to forumhome.

you can check out which queries are executed when you add &showqueries=1&explain=1 after your url ($debug=1; must be in config.php)

19 is the default amoun on forumhome :)

Install Xenon's hack to reduce queries. It's in his profile :D
