When adding hacks

Hi,

The only annoying thing i find about our super cool hacks system is that when you add a hack. You post it as normal (as a new thread). Then when you add it to the hack db you can't get a link to the attachment to add in the field. So you have to add it to the hack db. Then goto your thread. Get the link for the attachment and then edit it in the hack db once again.

Now why couldn't the link appear when adding the hack to the hackdb. The thread is in moderation so surely the attachment link could be called and entered automatically in the field?

Just an idea to make life easier hehe

Logik, as an Administrator of your own board, you should know, that we mod's can't do anything, it needs an Admin

LOL! That is a good point - and very frustrating. This can be automated easily, I'm sure. We'll leave it up to Chen.

It doesn't really bother me much as users are just told to go to the support thread should there not be a direct link to the file in the DB. However having it add the url automatically would be great, or if you can post the thread and put the link in the DB entry, and then click a button which will 'makepublic'.
