File Uploads with vB Authentication
 

Does anybody have any code that will allow members to upload files to a directory on your webserver that is protected by the username / password authentication used with vBulletin.

I just want members to upload any files they like and then link to them, e.g. shockwave files, large images etc. This means that all the files are on my local site.

I know there is various PHP code that allows you to do the upload facility, but I'd like it to be transparent to a member trying to upload if he's a board member, i.e. use his current username and password from the board.

Any help appreciated.

hmm, the attachment function of vb in combination with the save attachments as files could surely help here..
