save 'new posts read' status
Scenario: You come to the site, and hit 'New Posts', and there are 3 pages of new threads with activity.
The phone rings. You have to go to work and fix something, and should be back within the hour. I just lost the 3 pages of threads that had new activity. When I get back 30 minutes later, there will only be activity from before I had the work emergency. Proposal: I would like to have a 'Save' button somewhere, where I can basically fool vBulletin.. so when I come back next time, I still get those 3 pages of new activity (plus what I missed while at the work-emergency) Is there anything like this? Is it possible? Thanks for any input. /Brandon |
There are a few hacks that try and solve this, search for words like "read state" I know theres two releases that aim to do this.
