GZIP for use with vBulletin?
Where is the documentation to install GZIP so that vBulletin's files (and any PHP files at that) will be compressed?
www.gzip.org I found that, but there's no mention of PHP there, and my host says that GZIP is already installed on my server, however with GZIP enabled to level 1 on my vB, file sizes aren't being compressed... |
gzip has nothing to do with php, it's a module for apache :)
also no files will be compressed, there ist just a realtime compression when files are sent from the server to the browser. gzip just saves bandwith, not webspace :) |
I know that lol, I want it to save bandwidth...but do you have any URLs...or is it definitely gzip.org?

hmm, i don't know where i got it, but it's just one file:
ApacheModuleGzip.dll |
