I want to use one install of vB and I have several domain names which I would like to open the very same copy of vB.

Can I do this via “Frame Redirect” without having “cookie problems”?

Can you give a hypothetical example of how that would work?

For examply:

Mydomain.com
Mydomain.org
Mydoamin.net

Where would the name of the cookies, be changed so it works smoothly for all users who enter all the time via different doamins?

The reason WHY questions are posted in THIS area is for people who need to know IF something will work BEFORE they order and BEFORE they have the required License to access the other area.

If someone has an application which is critical to their needs, there would be no point in purchasing a product and find out LATER that there is no "ready to go" hack which is guaranteed to work 100% smoothly.

This is the reason for this area called "PRE Sales"

Surely THEORETICAL anything is possible and we could say that "if such a hack doesn't exist yet it COULD BE done.

But I am looking to find out has actually ALREADY been done and IS available (if and when, someone is Licensed, of course!).

We normally don't provide support for non-licensed members, but you ask a legitimate question.

The answer is no - cookies will NOT work for different domains, even if you frame them. At least this has been my experience. This is because you must specify a cookie domain in the Admin Control Panel, so that cookies will work properly. Only 1 domain can be specified.

You are best to ask this at www.vbulletin.com for a more definite answer - that's where the vB developers hang out. Ask this question in the Pre-Sales Question there. :) Hope this helps a bit at least.
