Question on template editing
 

How can I create new variables/templates like $post[avatar] ?

I have some areas on my site that change a lot, and figured it would be easier to just make a template set and variable, to go with it, than editing the main template all the time.

That would require hacking, not template mod stuff.

Would this be an easy hack to do? Any code you can give? :)

I'm not sure what you want to do - if you have a hack request then post it in the requests forum and someone will help you out :)
