How to make unlimited indents

What I mean buy indents is like in the forum administration, for subforums?

The way I have done it, it will only work once, cuz while it loops the results from the database, i have put in a query to display it and it will indent...how do I repeat this without repeating the query over and over again.its sort of like the depth thing in forum display.

Xenon did this to show forums and sub forums on his archive hack that skuzzy realease :)
