Limited Admin CP Access

Is there a hack available that will allow for an Admin to give Admin CP access but only for 1 section? For example.. I have someone I want to give access to my templates, but I only want them to be able to access templates and nothing else within the Admin CP.

Is this possible to do with any current hack? If not how hard would it be for someone to make one?

I released a hack for this, check my signature... there are 2 codes in the thread, mines and Firefly's. Use them combined.

I just got finished reading that thread and I have a question Teck. I didn't see where it answered this specifically so forgive me if I am being repetitive. If I am looking to give someone only access to the templates how would I code this?

I saw in there where you can prevent access to templates, but I didn't see anything where I can give them ONLY access to my templates.

Thanks for any help. :)

In config.php file add the variable described into the hack. Then use firefly's version to add the code, for templates, it will work. I use it on my site. :)

I took a look at this Teck and was unsure which post by Firefly you were talking about. Can you let me know specifically what from Firefly I am looking for?

Thx

eek i added your code from your hack onto my test forums and it wont let me edit any other users. I thought when I entered the userid in the first hack it was supposed to be of the user who is allowed too?

why did it change my permissions?
