(supermods) can add/delete users

THis is a request to modify the (super)moderators permission to be able to add/delete users like an administrator.
All the other things like board layout and section setup should be left untouched.
Preferably I look for a hack that provides the admin in the admincp to define users by name that are alowed to add/delete users.

The idea is that an admin does not have to be bothered with adding/deleting users and therefore can focus on board issues instead. Some other guy can take care of accounts then.

Can anyone provide this please.

Thanks in advance.

take a look at the lesser admincp by hellsatan, it can help you surely

Thanks for your reply, but the hack you mentioned is far too much.
I'm just looking for the possibility for a (super)mod to have an exra option on his control panal to add/delete users (and change usergroups as well).

no more, no less.

THanks anyway

look into my profile for the mods can edit user hack, it could help you :)

for the creation part you can just copy out the sections of admin/user.php...

THanks again for your reply, I had a look at your profile.
But still, the most imortant part (add/delete users) is not included in that one.
I'm not that good at PHP so won't dare it myself (afraid to build in a security hack myzelf :D ).

I hope someone can help me out......

Almost done writing up some instructions, just hold your horses for about 10 minutes and you'll have it! :D

Your mods will only be able to create users in the registered group, and will only be able to delete users in the registered group for security reasons...
