Moving member login
Yeah, I'm a newbie with probably a very simple question. I did a search but nothing I could find gives an exact 'HowTo'.
Here's my question . . . I want to move the login/logout function to the top of the forum just below this: Welcome back, xxxx View New Posts [login/logout] I'm hoping someone would be able to explain 1,2,3 exactly how I can accomplish this. I can follow directions - just yesterday installed the expand/collapse forum hack - my first! - without a hitch. So I've done some mucking around the templates but mostly it's still foreign territory. Remember, it's good karma to help out eager newbies! :classic: |
Find $logincode in your forumhome template and move it under the welcome text :)

Go to your Admin CP
.Log In ..Scroll down the left hand side (the menu) ...Find Templates ...Click Modify ....Find Forum Home Page Templates .....Click edit on forumhome ......Scroll down nearly to the bottom, you should be able to find $logincode , if not search for it in the little search box provided. .......Highlight $logincode then drag it up the page, drop it to where you want. If you want it to be under what you said them drag it to $welcometext or just below it. Click Save. Now go to your Forums home page and you should see it has been moved. :) |
