Questions before buying vBulletin tonight.....
 

I have a few questions for you vBulletin users out there before I buy it later tonight.

1. How secure is the admin CP? I had a friend on an older version of vBulletin that he had bought get hacked into and deadmined and got his entire board screwed up.

2. How easy are hacks to install? I have had experence with phpBB hacks....

3. How long does it take till I will be able to access the hacks avalible for download?

1. It's very secure. Also whenever a security hole is found, the fix is out very fast.
Normally such couldn't happen, but it's always a good advice to .htaccess your adminfolder, too :)

2. Depends on the hack. Most of them are very very easy to install without any php knowledge :)

3. When you got acces to vb.com's member area you can enter your username to a form, and after that you can download hacks.
No waiting time if you do everything correct :)

you are licenced, you should be able to download hacks
