Not quite sure on the vbulletin.org rules on this, am I allowed to make request if I am looking to pay somebody to write a custom hack/script?

you can also open a new thread in request forum and put $$ or something like that into the title, so, it's clear you'll pay

(sometimes also those requests are answered without paying, depends on what you want ;))
