Abit more info. on how your boards is setup, and also how the user accounts are setup.

What kind of web server are you running on... Linux/UNIX/NT?

Do you have your boards setup so that when people register, they get sent an email, which contains an activation link for them to click, before their account is activated properly.

Also, are those accounts that are having problems using Cookies, or not.

Also, what hacks have you installed.

ok.. I got the activation code turned off. and the forums are www.enactive.net/forums.. And should it matter if they're using cookies? I men the pw is the pw.. But anyways.. I installed the store hack. And the welcome panel hack, and the todays events hack. Thats it.. And i messed up the store hack, so im uninstalling it later.. Bu that shouldnt have dont the pw thing wrong..

And as far as the server. I have no idea what kinda server i am running on.. My friend host me. But the passwords and ++++ was working fine, until to tell you the truth, i installed some hacks.. But that shouldnt do it.

I think the problem will most proberbly be with the store hack you've installed.

To start the troubleshooting, it would be best to, like you say you are going to do already, un-install the store hack. Be sure to un-install it correctly, putting exactly the right (original) code back.

Once you've done that, see if you still get the problems.

If it is actually that you've installed the store hack in-correctly, then you'd be better off asking for support in the store hack thread.
