some Questions
 

Hi all...

I wanna do some changes on my vb and i am wondering wiether there are some hacks that do them or not:

1- PM: i want the admins to be able to send PM to members but i don't want members to send any PM.

2- for one forum i want every 15 posts to be equal to 1..(i.e on e a member writes 15 post in this forum his counter will be increased by 1 only)

3- i was trying to install the VB on my machine to do the tests instead of doing them online but i could not do it..i instaled the PHPmu admin and PHP and INTERNET SERVER (on windows2000) but every time i try to install the VB i got a blanck page on the second page and nothing happen...

this is for now but i have more...

plz answer me

#1. Admin CP -> Modify User Groups -> click on [edit] for whatever usergroup, scroll down and there is an option to disable private messaging.

#2. Requires coding, and I'm a bit too lazy at present. :p Look around the forum, maybe you can find it.

#3. Install (or reinstall) PhpTriad, insure you are actually running the apache console before launching your site, and make sure you have installed vBulletin properly with the MySQL database.

thanx 4 replaying but i did not install apatchi...i installed internal server that comes with windows 2000 and i tried many php programs and they work perfectly...i only faced this problem with the VB...

about #1: what i nedd exactly is enabling the PM for admins only but at the same time i want members to recieve PM but not sending.

about #3, it is sloved.

i am waiting for #1 and #2
